Dear Friends, after 91 days in the North Atlantic sea, in a tiny rowing boat my brother Tom Rainey and his great friend Lawrence Walters are so nearly home. They have battled horrendous seas, 80ft waves, capsized in storms, been thrown around the tiny cabin, suffered sever sea sickness, hallucinations, constantly wet bottoms which Tom’s has given him insane pain for months now,  they’ve even broken a world record, all to make this epic journey completely unsupported, rowing non stop from New York to Salcombe in Devon!

They are starving having rationed their food not long after halfway. It runs out this Wednesday so I pray with all my heart they are home in time.

These two heroes need recognition for this incredible brave selfless act in order to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. They have pushed their bodies and minds, (in extreme conditions!) further than anyone I have ever heard off to make this unbelievable journey by human power alone. Please can you share this, talk about this, forward this to anyone and everyone you know and spread the word as far as it’s humanly possible. The world should hear of these two unbelievably brave men. This needs to go viral! Please come and watch them row into Salcombe this Tuesday or Wednesday. Can you think what you have done since May 3rd? Seems a very long time ago, just think Tom and Lawrence have been rowing hour on hour off non stop across the North Atlantic sea! Let’s now do them proud, go and spread the Story of Ocean Valour!  If we all share and ask our friends and friends of friends to share this amazing story. They might just get the recognition they so truly deserve.

From an incredibly proud Sister!
